Pamela Frank

Pamela Frank is the International Health Services Program Director at Children’s Hospital Boston. In this role, she oversees global business development and patient operations, which is responsible for the strategic alliances with governments, healthcare institutions and insurers for the $1.3 billion healthcare system.
Pamela brings a wealth of experience to Children’s Hospital Boston, having founded and built New England Medical Center’s (NEMC) international patient referral program while serving as Director of International Programs from 1997 to 1999. In addition to her work at NEMC, she was vice president of international business development for Best Doctors, a provider of employee health benefits, offering innovative healthcare services to more than 15 million members worldwide.
Pamela’s ongoing contribution to the field of international health includes her service as President of Global Health Alliance, a non-profit committed to engaging U.S. physicians and nurses at the top U.S. Medical Centers in global health work. She is also a founding member of the International Health Forum, an association of top U.S. Academic Medical Centers dedicated to international medicine.
After graduating in 1989 with her M.B.A. in international management from top ranked Thunderbird, Pamela served as the Regional Manager for Latin America for Life Sciences, Inc, a U.K. based parent company medical devise manufacturers. She speaks Spanish and Portuguese and resides in Boston, MA.
Among her many civic contributions, she serves as Board President of the United Nations Association of Greater Boston and founded the Boston Chapter of Room to Read, a San Francisco based non-profit focusing on global education.
