Jimmy St. Louis, CEO of Advanced Healthcare Partners and Former COO of Laser Spine Institute, is an expert in healthcare administration, policy and procedure. With an MBA and Master’s degrees in both Finance and Telecommunications, Jimmy has managed the medical operations and corporate administration for Laser Spine Institute, known as the leader in endoscopic spine surgery. During his tenure, Jimmy’s leadership has guided Laser Spine Institute through immense growth from one surgery center with one OR to now four surgical centers with a total of 15 ORs. Jimmy and the executive team manage over 400 employees which consists’ of over 200 esteemed surgeons and medical professionals. The surgical team performs over 400 surgeries per month with over 20,000 surgeries performed since the organization’s inception in 2005. Jimmy’s commitment to providing a high level of healthcare, driving toward excellent patient satisfaction, innovating the business and medical model, and keeping a positive company culture has led Laser Spine Institute to become a successful endoscopic spine surgery provider.

 

In addition to his commitment to Laser Spine Institute, Jimmy is the founder of Advanced Healthcare Partners. • Business Buddies Tampa– Jimmy currently donates his time as the President of Business Buddies Tampa. His role in this organization is to conceptualize, build, and manage a board of nine diverse professionals from the Tampa Bay region, help grow them professionally, and to help grow the professionals in the Tampa Bay area by building and offering programs conducive to their professional growth. Since joining Business Buddies, they have created career opportunities for hundreds of professionals through semi-annual special events and monthly networking events. Through these events, they raise over $50,000 annually for partners at Best Buddies.

 

• Tampa Hillsborough Economic Development Corporation– Since joining the THEDC, Jimmy has helped develop two task forces, responsible for driving the economic development efforts of medicine and biosciences in the Tampa Bay Region. Being a leader of a nationwide healthcare organization, Jimmy has been fortunate enough to help to set a platform for new medical and bioscience companies and organizations to locate or relocate to the Tampa Bay region. These task forces will continue to drive the emphasis and importance of healthcare economic development and make the Tampa Bay region a well known entity in medical advancement.

 

• Best Buddies Advisory Council –Jimmy serves as an advisory council member, assisting in executing the vision of Best Buddies; which is to establish a global volunteer movement that creates opportunities for one-to-one friendships, integrated employment and leadership development for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Since becoming a part of Best Buddies, Jimmy has worked hard to continue to create awareness for the cause. In just the last year, Best Buddies has been named a finalist for the non-profit of the year awards, and had one of the contributing local teachers be named national philanthropic teacher of the year.

 

• University of Tampa Board of Counselors–The mission is to aid The University of Tampa in its student retention program and to assist in creating public recognition of, understanding of, and confidence in The University of Tampa. Since joining the Board of Counselors, Jimmy has created synergies between the student employment office and several bay area organizations by either creating or encouraging the development of internship programs to assist in the professional development of the University of Tampa students.

 

• Speaker–Jimmy travels the country to speak about his area of subject matter expertise in healthcare management. Some notable conferences are Becker’s ASC Conferences, Six Sigma, the World Congress of Business Executives, Process Excellence Week, and Spine Surgery Center of Excellence week. Jimmy’s role as a speaker and panelist at these sessions is to help encourage others to understand that there are many ways of doing business in healthcare. Having created a strategic business platform that is sought after in the healthcare arena, Jimmy finds it important and necessary to educate others on the business tactics, in order to help make the business of healthcare a much more efficient process.
